Some randomness.....

The surveyor's were out yesterday and the land is ready for the basement to begin. I can't believe that this week my house will be started, this is so crazy, I just can't believe it's finally happening!

Little A was running around the living room yesterday and tripped with her sippycup in her mouth, you can just imagine the mess of her face now. Her top lip is so swollen that she looks like the grinch (the one with Jim C&arey). The bruising is starting to come out on the outside now too, I'll have to take a picture, because it's unbelievable how it looks. She doesn't look like the same person. Anyway, i'm sure it'll be gone down in a few days, poor little girl :(

And finally a meme stolen from Chas' site:

1. What kind of SOAP is in your bathtub right now? Ivory and Huggies baby body wash for A.

2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator? No

3. What would you change about your living room? Not much since I won't be in it in less than 2 weeks!

4. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty? What dishwasher, I don't have one! lol. I will in my new house though :)

5. What is in your fridge? Lots, we just got groceries. Milk, skim and whole, yogurt, fruit, pasta sauce opened, eggs, italian sausage, green and red peppers to name a few things.

6. White or wheat bread? wheat

7. What is on top of your refrigerator? pills, and more stupid pills, i have my own pharmacy up there.

8. What color or design is on your shower curtain? It's a plain forest green color fabric to go with the curtain in the window.

9. How many plants are in your home? None

10. Is your bed made right now? Yes, I have to always make my bed, it makes the room much neater looking

11. Comet or Soft Scrub? I guess soft scrub, although my hubby does the major cleaning :)

12. Is your closet organized? Things are hung up, if that's considered organized. LOL.

13. Can you describe your flashlight? I don't think we have a working one around, last one i saw was a big flood light type.

14. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home? Glass, the plastic is for the kids.

15. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now? No, just strawberry Kiwi juice.

16. If you have a garage, is it cluttered? I don't have one. :(

17. Curtains or blinds? Curtains and blinds in some rooms. But I would prefer all curtains in my new home.

18. How many pillows do you sleep with? 2, one under my head and one body pillow.

19. Do you sleep with any lights on at night? No, I like it to be completely dark.

20. How often do you vacuum? The rug in the living room at least once a day, the kids rooms, every 2nd day.

21. Standard toothbrush or electric? Standard.

22. What color is your toothbrush? It's white and dark blue.

23. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch? Yes, it's a mat that you wipe your feet off with, it doesn't say welcome though.

24. What is in your oven right now? The racks and a pizza pan.

25. Is there anything under your bed? yes, my old normal clothes.

26. Chore you hate doing the most? I don't like chores in general. I hate to clean. I guess my most unfavorite chore would have to be folding and putting away laundry.

27. What retro items are in your home? My grandmother gave me her china cabinet, filled with a set of china that was bought when she was first married 67 yrs ago.

28. Do you have a separate room that you use as an office? Hell no, the reason I'm building a new house is that I don't even have enough rooms for bedrooms for all my kids. :P

29. How many mirrors are in your home? One in the bathroom, one on my dresser, and one in the kids rooms. So 4 in total.

30. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home? Nope.

31. What color are your walls? White, white and more white. I can't wait to get in our new house and paint and have COLOR!

32. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home? Nothing in this house.

33. What does your home smell like right now? Fresh laundry, because that's what I've been doing for the last 2 hrs.

35. What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator right now?Sweet pickles, YUCK!

40. How many house phones? 1 a cordless one at that.

41. Do you have a housekeeper? Hahaha, yah right, no just me and hubby.

42. What style do you decorate in? Simple I guess, nothing to bold or fancy. I like plain things. Hello, my walls are still white after living here for 8 yrs.

43. Do you like solid colors in furniture or prints? I like solid colors in furniture. But I have the ugliest print on my soft right now, it was a cheap set and we were just married, so it did the trick at the time, for the next one I'm getting it will be all one color preferebly dark, so stains are harder to notice from the kids!

44. Is there a smoke detector in your home? Yes there are 2.

Anyone who wants to do this can.

I had my OB appointment on Wednesday. Gained another 2 lbs and baby is measuring right on track, head down ready to go! lol He told me as long as I feel fine, he'll let me go on my own, so I'm definately having the baby in December. I had one due date of Dec. 1 so with my history of being overdue, my guess is Dec. 7th. With a 9 pounder. We shall see. Next appointment is in 2 weeks, then they are weekly.

After that appointment I took A to get her 18 mos needles, she got them and the flu shot all at once, she did great but at the last needle she screamed pretty loud, poor babes. Hubby and I also go the flu shot, ouch, I really didn't want to but I'm covered as a healthcare worker and whatever so I got it. A did good afterwards also only got cranky once during the night and never did get a temp.

We have started packing to move out, this place is so bare! I found some of E's old baby clothes and the outfit he came home in, I washed them all up for this baby :) Anyway, must get some uniforms ironed, still working only about 10 shifts left till Maternity leave!

Finally our mortgage was finalized and the plans for the house are to start next week. This amazes me. I find it all too surreal that this is going to happen, now I can actually start thinking of colors for rooms, flooring and all that shit. I never really expected any of this to happen anytime soon, especially not next week~! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.

So our mini-home we are in is sold, the people buying it are planning to move it the 2nd week of Nov. So we really have to get our assess in gear and start packing, of course I'm still working full-time like a nut, so it doesn't leave me with a whole bunch of extra time, but I'll be sure to get started next week.

The kids are really excited too about finally having their own rooms they can decorate as they please and no sharing with anyone!

When we finally move out of here we are going to move into my MIL's basement because it is going to be all done over from the flood that happened a couple of months ago. We live in the country and have well water and apparently from the flooding something happened to her well so the people who deal that that type of stuff had to come out to assess the problem, it was fixed the other day and water was hooked back up. Didn't the basement get flooded AGAIN from some problem when they re-hooked up the water. The walls were completely gyprocked and was almost finished and now they will have to be done over again. Really who has this kind of luck???

Here's the newest pic of my little one. I'll put it up with and without the writing, so you can make out what you are seeing.

Big news we finally sold our house! Yay, and just in time we are supposed to start the house within the next 3 weeks.

Other than that not much going on, had a retarded day at work, started out with a code blue, lady crashed just as I was getting on shift, nice. Then my day was a chaotic from there, I was on meds, and i think EVERYONE had IV meds, potassium bolus, TPN, 5 new admissions in 1 hr, it was just a tad bit crazy for my liking, I so wished I were in bed. But made it through, and get to do it all over again tomorrow!

Went to my OB yesterday, didn't gain any weight this time. Baby is measuring perfectly and I got a picture from my u/s. I'll scan it later and post it, it's of his face. He looks a lot like my son from what we could see, hell he could look completely different when he's born. LOL. Next appt is in 2 weeks.

On the new house we are waiting for the mortgage to be approved, we will know by Monday, shit this might happen! We were pre=approved and they say everything looks great but until it's finalized I just won't count on it.

Anyway that's my update, just getting ready to go to work again tomorrow!~

Thursday, October 04, 2007

Wow, can't believe it's October already! I can finally say (according to one date my OB gave me) that I'm due next month! lol, although it's the end of the month.

My visit went fine, I gained 1lb and my pressure is fine. Measuring dead on for weeks and the baby is now head down. I then had my GI appointment, I have no idea what that man said to me, I had E and A there with me so he never said anything about a follow-up appt and mumbled something about my family Dr. I dont really care for him anyway, i was hoping to see someone new later on.

Then I had to take my son to see his pediatrician. He went over the results of his testing and told me that he needs more 1:1 time with phonics, etc. Yesterday I finally got the written results of his test, so I have to take that to the school and figure out what approach they are going to use.

Took my kids to get their eyes tested today, my oldest needs glasses to see the board in school but won't have to use them all the time. The other 2 children were fine.

Still working fulltime. I gave my letter to my unit manager yesterday as to when I will be going off, I told her mid-nov but hell that'll be 38weeks, I'm sure I can get by with the first week of Nov finished. We'll see. Anyway, must go now and lay down, I never got home from work until about 12am and then was up with A, she's sick yet again and woke up with a lovely little heat rash. There really isn't a dull moment for us in this house!
