We're Back!
We made it home last night around 9pm after our little trip. I was actually never so happy to get home, in my own bed!
So we left Tuesday morning around 9am. We went to Moncton, NB and it's about a 6 hr drive normally, but with 4 kids, that could be anywhere up to 7 hrs especially with a baby. Anyway off we went. Oh I'd say about 2 hrs into the drive hubby insists on passing this big trucker, so he of course slams on the gas to go by and is driving about 140km finally passes the dude and says, "ummm, honey, I think something in the engine let go". I'm like, "what the hell, the van is only a 2005, it's just 1 yr old, what the hell!" So we pull off to a nearby gas station, he looks under the hood and figures out that the engine belt is freyed. So panicky me starts in at, well way to f'in go, blah blah, the typical bitching that i do when I get mad and worried. I was all like, how long can you drive like that, he's like, not long before it'll go then you don't go! URGH, what a way to start the day, honestly who the hell does that happen to!??? Surprisingly enough there was a Dodge dealership only about 15 min from where we discovered our problem and they actually took us in right away. (maybe the fact that there were 4 children, and stuck nowhere near home, may have swayed them a bit, LOL) We went up the road to get something to eat and then came back and only had to wait about 2 hrs in total. We were definately sidetracked, but thank God it got fixed and didn't happen somewhere else with no place to fix it in sight! Oh and good ol' hubby got the oil changed while it was in. What a nut.
After that drama finished, we got back on the highway. Got to our destination at about 5pm. Checked into our hotel and decided to go out for supper. We went to Boomerang's. It was pretty good but holy hell expensive. Well I'm lying, the kids menu was only 3.99 but the adults was like 13.99 and up! Yikes. Anyway, we pigged out of course, hehe.
After that we went shopping. The kids each got a toy and then back to our room then down to the pool of course till almost 10pm. Ugh, I was beyond exhausted. Got some cute tops and pants and a new bathing suit, yay! They baby went to sleep around 9pm and slept great until about 3am. When this massive thunderstorm disrupted our sleep. Crap, I thought it would never stop. Oh well, about 4 hrs later it finally did. (can you tell, I hate thunder and lightening, scares the crap outta me)
So next morning up at 8am to start the day. We went to the amusement park and spent a fortune to get on the rides. We stayed there for about 6 hrs. The baby didnt' fuss at all. She was excellant. The kids had a great time. I didn't really get any pictures of them on the rides, I was more interested in getting them on video camera. So I got tons of footage of them. After that we went out to Jungle Jim's for supper, the kids absolutely loved that place. The food was great, but I was starting to think at this point, my kids will turn into a pizza or chicken fingers!
Finally, our last day. We got up early checked out and decided to hit up the Zoo. It was fun, but soooo hot! After 2 hrs in the heat the youngest kids were even getting sick of it, it was time to head out. We got lots of pictures of the animals and of course my batteries died both in the digi cam and video camera halfway through! Oh well, not much I could do at that point but enjoy :)
The kids had a great time, so did we but I was never so happy to get the heck home :)

So I did go to the Doctor and got me some antibiotics to clear up my sore boob problem. I'm already starting to notice a difference, thank goodness. What a way to spend my birthday though, waking up to that pain. :(
Anyway, the kids got me an ice cream cake and since we are going away next week we figured we'd save the money and get something away, cause can't go on a vacation without shopping!
Tonight is hubby's last night of work for a whole month! I am sooo happy! We really lucked out this year to both have the summer off. Last year I worked pretty much everyday, since I was working at the hospital and at a nursing home. Oh well, I can enjoy my summer now :)
Did anyone watch Canada's Next Top Model? It certainly was nothing compared to America's version, but it gave me something to watch on a weekly basis. I was super pissed at who won last night though, of all people that Andrea won. Blah.
Oh the baby started doing the funniest thing today, I was making fart sounds with my mouth at her and she was doing the exact same thing to me. It was just too sweet. She's certainly changing on a daily basis. I also finally took the digital pics in to get printed off to start her photo album. I tried her with a bit of rice cereal today, since she's starving lately (I'm sure another wonderful growth spurt) and she absolutely LOVED it. Ate it off the spoon, even started talking with her mouth full, hehe.
Well that's about all that's been happening. Took my pc in to get fixed because it was all screwed up and had to get a new modem, pretty sure that the lightening fried it that time. I have to get a power surge bar, I only have a power bar, stupid me forgot to pick one up today. My luck we'll get some lightening today and ZAP! it'll go again.

OUCH!!!!!
Well, yesterday I went to the beach with the hubby and children. We just relaxed in the blazing heat and I stayed on the shore with the baby. The inlaws came over last night so instead of hauling boob out in front of them, I just fed her a 4 ounce bottle. She usually sleeps all night long too, if she's got that in her. The heat was so damn ridiculous in my room last night, I thought I was going to die, I was getting a headache and feeling all shitty. Then, I wake up at 1am. My left boob is as big as my head, totally engorged, hard as a rock, hurting like hell. OUCH! Of course, I say screw this, wake up baby and try and get her to nurse. The pain of her latching on was equivalent to the pain I felt nursing my first child, when I had blistered, cracked, bleeding, sore, chewed off nipples. Oh it was horrible. She ate for about 10 minutes and I got absolutely NO relief. Went out and started to hand pump some milk in a bottle, got about 3 oz. Still hurt like a bitch, so took some advil and went back to bed. Woke again at 3am. Holy hell, pain is getting soooo much worse now, again I woke up the baby and prayed so hard she'd eat a ton. Nope, nursed for like 10 minutes, back to sleep. So of course I'm laying there dying, complaining to hubby, he doesn't really care, cause he's gotta go to work in the am. I suck it up and somehow manage to sleep in this sweltering hot ass house. |
5am, up again. This time boob is bigger than I ever seen it. Even worse than when my milk first came in 3 months ago. This time I'm feeling them, one is WAY hotter and check my temp, 40C. Wow, i doubt the house is that friggen hot. And I feel as though I've been hit like a dump truck! I've pretty much figured it's probably mastitis, although I'm not a Dr. but I dont' know what other symptoms they'd look for, since I feel like death is knocking on my door. So far I've been nursing her on that side, and I get no damn relief. Guess I should make an appointment to see my Dr.
:*( I can now understand what other new momma's were going through when they had experienced this. It sucks ass.

Friday night hubby and I finally went on a "date" without the baby! My MIL came over to watch the children and I left the baby. That's the first time that I went out, without her. We went to the movies and saw Pirates of the Caribbean. I really liked it, but the funny thing is that I was all confused about why one of the characters wanted something, I don't want to ruin it for anyone in case someone that reads this hasn't seen it. *my goodness I babble* Anywho, the thing is that I was thinking about the baby for the first ooooohhh I'd say 1/2 hr of the movie and didn't get some of the "plot". I finally asked, "hubby, why does he want that so bad?" And he went on to explain this big thing to me, and I was like you got all that out of the movie? and his reply: "sometimes honey, I wonder if we are watching the same movie" haha. I take so long to tell any kind of stories. So it was fun, we went to blockbuster and bought some movies too, got the Corpse Bride, Spiderman and Spiderman 2. We watched them all with the kids yesterday. They love them. We also went out to eat. I am thinking that I really have to get out more away from the baby. Some "me" time. Although I don't want to leave her, it'll be harder in the long run for sitters on both of us if I don't start it soon. My daughter got home tonight from her trip. She bought all of us a keychain and got me a little nurse button for my crocs. How cute is she. I thought it was sweet of her to think of all of us while she was away. She also got me this thing for a zipper that says, "best mum". It's a little purple bear. Too cute. She hasn't stopped talking since she came home. haha. It's been 2 hrs of non-stop entertainment. Boy she can talk! Oh I bought the kids these little tiny frogs on the weekend. They go in an aquarium and are the size of my fingernail. They are too cute. They are only supposed to get about two times bigger than what they are. I can deal with that. I hate big old yucky toads, but these are so tiny. Maybe I'll take a pic. I've told them that they are basically just like fish, you can't pick them up, only look at them. That has satisfied them, so they don't bug to touch them. I rather it that way for now, because I'm sure little E would have them dead from mauling them in a day. Today we took the kids to the movies to see Cars. We figured that since it wasn't much of a beach day we'd do something with them. So off we went. My son LOVED it. He's totally into cars. They had fun. The baby was great the whole time too, she actually watched a bunch of it. Too cute. Oh saw Big Brother tonight. I'm happy that Kaysar put up Nakomis and Diane. I don't really like Diane all that much. I was so worried he was going to nominate Will when it took forever to get his key out. I think I would strongly consider not watching it anymore if he was kicked out this early. Anyway, I think if one of them wins the veto and gets "off the block" he may put up that irritating George instead. He needs to go home to his family. lol. I went to a wedding shower this evening. My SIL asked me to go with her, it was for a girl that was in her wedding but hasn't seen her in about 6 yrs. Anyway, I didn't know her, but said, I'll go if you want me to. So I took the girls and my SIL and off we went. We played 2 games and didn't I win both and then there was the questions who's anniversary is closest to the bride's, yah mine was and then the question who's proposal was closest to the bride's. Mine was on the same day. I was actually embarrassed since I didn't even know her and won the most presents. I didn't' even want to admit the last one but SIL knew the date and yelled it out. Well that pretty much sums up my exciting weekend. :) |

Ok this is just some random thoughts going on here. 1. The last few days have been gorgeous, except crappy rainy today. Anyway, we were at the beach pretty much the whole day on Wednesday and Thursday and boy did i get a sunburn! My shoulders are burning and hurting like hell right now. Anyway, that's what stupid me gets for not putting sunscreen on myself after slathering up 3 children. Of course all caught up getting 4 children ready to go to the beach, I forgot my camera, so will have to wait until next beautiful beach day to take pics. Oh and SilyHily asked about the whole air conditioning thing. It's not really something you need around here, since we only ever have about 2 hot weeks in the summer. So you just live without and suffer through it by going to the beach. 2. My oldest daughter left for PEI the other day. I miss her. We usually play crazy 8's in the evening and watch cheesy tv and movies. But now she's gone, only until Sunday night then we'll resume our silly night time routines. 3. The 2 E's came down to my room about an hour ago taking me by the hand and told me to keep my eyes closed because they had something to show me down in their room. They took me down (of course I cheated and had my eyes slightly opened, who knows what 5&6 yr olds will lead me into). They had cleaned their room, and were playing Mario Party 7 on their Gamecube. They were so happy that they passed a stage, the 2 players that they were, some ghost and wario guy it had plastered across the screen "You are Superstars" ahaha, they were dancing with excitement since they were told they are superstars! *and they really are :)* 4. I just finished watching Big Brother 7: All Stars. I'm rooting for Will to win again. He's so off the wall, I laugh at all of his quirky things he has to say. And I find it odd that Howie is so obsessed with him. I think Will enjoys it. of course he loves the attention. I was glad to see Alison leave, I never liked her from the previous season and I don't really like her now. I can't wait until Sunday night to see who Kaysar puts up for nomination. 5. Oh sadly enough I've become addicted to RockStar Supernova, now I need my fellow bloggers to help me out. Hopefully someone else watches this show other than me, I fell asleep into a deep coma last night and couldn't stay awake to see who got kicked off, can someone tell me? I hate my internet connection and frequent crashing too much to do a simple search. 6. I totally shouldn't post this, because I know that in doing this may be a bad thing, but I will. My baby sleeps all night. There I went and screwed myself, I know it. But anyway, for the last 2 weeks almost she's been going to sleep for the night at about 10:30pm or 11pm and staying asleep allll night until about 6am to 7am. It's wonderful. I actually had to wake her the other morning because I was covered in tit milk, everywhere! 7. I went on a mad shopping tear again today. In my favorite store "Please Mum". It had a lot of clothes on for 70% off, how could I resist. Of course this is one of those sleep days for hubby, so I am the wonderful wife that I am and take all of the kids out of the house for him to sleep a sound sleep in order to be fully rested for his next night shift (can you tell he's never done this for me, shithead). Anyway, the 3 kids and I went to the mall and spent about 3 hrs there. I got some hardcore school clothes for the kids. I did amazing. My son is pretty much clothed for school. And my youngest has quite a bit too. Usually my oldest daughter's grandparents get her school clothes so I really dont' have much shopping left to do. AND I only spent 100 dollars. GO ME! 8. I never told you's before but my oldest daughter has a different father than my other 3 children. I was young and stupid and thought I was in love. Anyway, accidents happen *she was the best by far* and I had her at 17. At the first of the school year when I found out I was pregnant I didn't want to go, I even thought about quitting and going back some other time. It was rough, I was in grade 12 and had her in April of that year. I suffered through the school year, and I was deathly sick, but anyway, stuck it out even went up to the day I had her. I was 2 weeks overdue, I remember teachers asking me when I was due and I was all like, 2 weeks ago and they were like, dont' have that baby here! Of course first children take forever, I would have plenty of time was always my reply. As much as I can't tolerate school, I continued to go to university for 7 years. 9. We've decided we will take the kids on a little vacation this summer. I've booked it for 2 weeks time, we are going to go to New Brunswick. Most of my family lives there, so we'll get to go visiting and show off all the kids since they haven't seen them in about 3 yrs. And of course they never met the newest addition. :) 10. Speaking of such, my amazing little girl just totally put herself to sleep in her crib as I'm bloggin up a storm here. (I should stop this bragging cause she's going to stop all of these good things, I know it) I just can't get over what a good baby she is though, all my others well, I'll put it this way, weren't as good. :) Well I think of rambled enough for now. I'm getting a little tired. Must end with baby pic! |

Here's her 3 month picture.
My baby just totally exploded in her swing. It's been about 2 days since she last had a good poop, well she's made up for lost time! I had to remove the swing cover and it's in the wash as I type. hehe.
Ok, it's even hotter out here now than its' been in the last few days, I'm melting as I type. We are getting ready to go to the beach soon, I'm going to take the camera and get some pics of the kids, so I'll post them tomorrow.
Last night hubby and I watched The Hills Have Eyes, ummmm, that ranks high up on my list of disturbing movies. I had to leave the room a bunch of times, I'm such a wimp. lol.
Well there isn't much else new going on, hubby is back to work, although he's only got 5 more shifts then he's got a month off for vacation! Yayyyy. I don't think we are going away anywhere, we really won't have the money for it. My oldest daughter is going to PEI with her grandparents so at least she'll have a little summer vacation.
Anyway, my dryer is finished, must re-assemble the swing amd head out to the beach.

3 Months
Last night, I went to the movies with my friend that I had posted about who found out she's expecting twins. Anyway, she just found out last week it's a girl and boy! I'm so happy for her, now her family is complete :) We went to see The Devil Wears Prada. I took the baby with me too, since I pretty much nurse her all the time now. While I was there I realised just how big she's getting. She no longer wants to lay cuddling in my arms, she was wide awake the whole time wanting to sit upright to see the movie! What a kid. I just feel like her "baby" days are over. Now, I know that sounds insane to say, my 3 month old isn't a baby anymore, but I think other new mom's will know what I mean. (that or I am insane, hehe) After the movie we went to Walmart, had to get my girly things, one of the things I could do without! Oh also got some bad ass Tylenol cold and flu to help knock the crap out of this cold. It's still hanging on and not getting any better and the worst part is the baby is getting it too :( I just hope her cough doesn't get like mine. After our trip to Walmart we headed out to DQ. Yah had to get a banana split, oh it was soooo good. I am such a sucker for sweets. I had such a good time out with just the "girls". When I finally got home after 10pm I was determined I would stay awake and see Big Brother. Of course that didn't come on again until 12pm, so the mission was set, I'd watch RockStar Supernova then see my Big Brother, WRONG, fell asleep within 20min, didn't see either show. And the best part, woke up at 12:58am. Just after my shows ended. Haha, at least hubby gave me a rundown of what happened, who's in the house etc. Oh I am going to post this again, I still can't really comment on sites. When it does come up it'll say blogger for identity but then won't give me the password option. I'm totally surprised that it will actually let me post. So I'm still reading, just hoping this internet junk settles out soon. Hope everyone is doing fine and enjoying their summer. |

Urgh
Urgh. That's what I must title this post. On a different topic, I am super excited that Big Brother will be on tomorrow night and I just found out today that another Rock Star show starts tonight. I'm such a goof, I absolutely loved RockStar INXS, I hope this one doesn't let me down. It's far better than American Idol in my opinion. Oh and I hate my internet connection. I can view blogs but when I pull up to post a comment, half the time it'll say site not found. So hopefully that'll stop soon. |

Milestones!
Well yesterday when I went to my friends house we were playing with the baby, letting her lay on the floor on her belly. Baby was all annoyed that she was laying on her belly, she hates tummy time, anyway, she rolled herself over. Then looked up at that fan and was all smiles. I thought it was a fluke so back to her belly we put her and she did it again and again! It wasn't just a fluke! Anyway she did it for hubby too when he came home later that night. She also gave a big giggle out loud yesterday too! She was full of surprises. I found my son's baby book and she's about 2 days ahead of what he did when he was that age. I just hope she isn't walking as soon as him, he was 8 months old! Last night we had quite the thunderstorm going on here. The baby went to sleep for the night at around 10pm and the storm started around 1am. I thought for sure she'd wake up, so I layed there listening to her fuss, and didn't she put herself back to sleep and stayed asleep until 6am! What a nut, of all nights to sleep the entire night, last night was it. With some of the lightening my pc was making some strange sounds, so I got up to turn it off. It still made some crazy sounds after I turned it off. Well this am, I tried to get the internet connected (since I have crappy dial-up) anyway, it wouldn't connect. It took about a half hour of friggen around in the back for it to connect and it's still not working properly. I wonder if something happened and shorted out the modem. I dunno. Strange. It's absolutely gorgeous here today. I guess we'll head out to the beach, since we've just finished cleaning the kids rooms. :) |

Yesterday was fun. We went to the boardwalk in town and they had a bouncy tent thing set up for the kids along with this blow up maze thing. They had a lot of fun. My oldest daughter was gone to her grandparents so she didn’t come home until about 9pm. She got a new outfit for grading day, it’s beautiful the pants are a pretty green color and the halter top is white. It’s too cute. She also got a pair of crocs. They are shoes that she’s been wanting for some time now. I can’t get over how much she’s growing up. It’s too funny, she no longer wants toys for her presents she wants clothes and movies. You know they are growing up when that’s what they start asking for! We had a great BBQ. The ribs were great. The 2 E’s had fun eating them, then throwing the bones to our dog. It was a great way to get them to eat more though, haha, eat the rest of your supper then you can feed the dog the bones! hehe. Baby sat out in the gazebo in her bouncy chair. She loved it, just sat there cooing the entire time. We even forgot she was there at one point. LOL. She’s such a good baby. Anyway, today is much cooler and I think we are going to a friends house today for a visit. Will talk later. |

Happy Canada Day!
Happy Canada Day!
There's lots of fun things for the kids to do down at the boardwalk today. Must go celebrate before it gets far too hot. Hubby has the day off (of course he wouldn't be working on the holiday to get paid time and a half). BBQ tonight, yay, ribs, steaks, salads and cake for dessert. Way to screw my diet! hehe. Oh who can forget the strawberry daquari's too :)
